BBB Info: Disney Goes Gay
Gay scenes in a Walt Disney movie? Unthinkable! Until now: The new film "Beauty and the Beast" has an open gay moment.
In Malaysia, the film did not pass the censorship. The release has been postponed indefinitely. In Russia the classic fairy tale is rated adult only and in Alabama cinemas refuse to show the production at all.
Lucky you, when you are in Bangkok. No limits to see the movie! You can see it just around the corner from BBB Inn at the SF Cinema City inside the MBK-Center. The film starts at 10:30 a.m. every hour in one of the several cinemas there. Last show 22:10 o'clock. Choose between normal and 3D.
The new version is an adaptation of the fairy tale about a monstrous looking prince and a young woman, who fall in love. The manservant LeFou plays the sidekick to the story’s villain Gaston.
He is confused about his sexuality. Director Bill Condon describes the gay scene: "LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston”.
When you are at BBB Inn, just ask at the reception. The staff will order tickets for you and your friends.
